Critic Reviews

James Suckling - JamesSuckling.com (April 2020)
This is such a beautifully nuanced red with tobacco, dried herbs, wet earth and currants. Some leather and rose petals, too. Full-bodied and chewy, yet refined with great polish. It’s rich and intense at the same time. Very focused center palate. Broad layers of tannin and fruit.

Alistair Cooper MW by Catad'Or Wine Guide
A lovely nose, refined and with pencil shavings, cedar and spice. A smoked bacon note on the palate with firm, suave and textured tannins. Layered and has a streak of acidity, and the bacon herbal note comes through — liquorice, cedar and a woody note on the finish. This is super fine and elegant, with richness, power and a sweetness of tannins as well — a beautiful wine that is rich and sensual, energetic and layered. A reference.
